The skin tones are a bit too red, but I like the lighting and the warm colors.
Also, I suggest that you cloned out the shadows of your glasses, at least under your right (my left) eye.

| Excellent all except for the odd shadow across the top of your forehead - I find this distracting. Also might have been worth considering duotone. You look a little red - sunburnt. 7 |

i don't know anything about portraiture, so i'm using your image as a guinnea pig as to what i think i would or wouldn't do in this situation, as well as what i notice and get out of your image.
this is about as an honest a portrait as one could ask for. good job. the composition, expression, focus, and lighting all work well. i hope i can manage this much control when i take my turn. |

| I like the close framing. The red is quite obviously intentional, but I don't personally care for it. |
