i'm grateful for the comments, thought the shot was too commercial,
for my taste anyhow. spent the entire holiday looking for a bridge.
i'm still married.....ha

daniel, hubby has a 10D and a 1D, he likes the one upmanship!
[men!]:)

ivo: the two cars on the highway were the reason i had to desaturate,
they were blue and lime green! you can do my laundry anytime! :o

When I look at it closer, it really is the two cars on the highway that make this shot.;-p Great finish in a tough challenge. Well deserved! Can I take your laundry to the drycleaners you photo goddess?

Surely this isn't in the time-window allowed: I wanna read your EXIF data!!!! Seriously, a fantastic vantage point has allowed you to frame a great picture. Well done.

What are the odds? I was in Livingstone this week and submitted a photo from the Zambian side of the border - We could havew met and not even known about it - I did not manage to get in the air but plan to go back in a few weeks time with the family and do it for sure - Did you go up in a microlite or in the heleicopter?
Good photo - well edited

Nah ... 1903 is too early; the challenge period was Feb 2005. Sorry, just being a dumass. It's a very good photograph. Your composition (even if it is from a standard lookout spot) puts the bridge in context, which obviously adds to the impact. The bridge and the falls are each enhanced in interest by the presence of the other. 6

Ha!, if it wasn't for the cars I would have sworn this was a turn-of-the-centruy (20th) shot.

It's a great photo. Don't quite understand how this satisfies the 'no copying of other works of art' provision.

Fantastic; but if you shot it in 1903, how did you finesse the date stamp? jejeje. Very very nice entry.

v. nice...the toning is smashing...very apt title as it has that aged sepia look to it.
