Yep - it's Mom's China!!

My parents purchased it on their first anniversary, so I guess it would about 45 1/2 years old. I haven't purchased my own china simply because I can't find anything I like as much as this - and it will be mine someday.

The pattern is, quite suitingly, Anniversary Rose, made in Staffordshire, England.

They bought the whole shootin' match - china, glassware, and silver. The table is abundant in roses when there's a nice dinner planned.

The china is very lovely. I love it. The glare doesn't help this image .

Hope you were careful with mom's china! This is a good setup.

neat! I like the use of dof, and the perspective. A bit too much glare on the dishes.. otherwise very interesting.

Great photo. The composition is a bit busy for my liking. I would prefer if there was not such a glare on the plates, or if you couldn't avoid that, not on the roses! That's very distracting, i'll admit. The depth of field is pretty good in this. Perhaps it would have been better without the plates, and only the cups.

A diffuser over the light might take out the glare.

Beautiful set. The colors are great. The glare on the plates is a bit much. It also feels like everything is leaning a little to the right.

Enter your comment here, and then cast your vote...Could this have been taken with natural light. The glare off the dishes is somewhat distracting. Neat shot and idea.

First noticable problem is it needs to be rotated to the left by 2 degrees.

Nice idea. The gold trim on the plates does not seem the same on all the plates - may be the glare, especially on the middle plate.

Visual impact is nice.
Lighting is fine, but it is really hitting me off those dished on top.
focus is fine except for that first cup is out of focus.
Love that rose pattern.
Originality of idea idea is great.
Love the gold rim. . .

lovely - is this what polarizing filters are good for? to take out glare like this? 7
