 An old valley bridge near my home. The weathered birch trees are alive, the cart will go from one place to the other. But the bridge will be there for travellers - of course when not asleep.

I don't get why this didn't do way better-it is one of the better shots in the whole challenge. The darkness is very effective, the picture seems to tell the beginning of a story-very film like. Great work.

this is really nice, with the wagon on the right, love it. wish it was bigger so I could see more detail.

Unlike most absurdly small entries, this one is a very good photograph. It looks like a beautiful, quiet scene, a nice composition and well executed in camera and after. But it's just too small for you to get the full credit you probably deserve. 5

Very nice! I wonder if that's moonlight or a street light - my eye is definitely drawn to the left where the light is - ah, I think it's headlights now. The crop is very expressive and works wonderfully here. Also like the wagon sitting by the road. 8
