Tried something very different for me and looks like for most people it flopped. I added the noise (grain) to make it look antique and surreal. Oh well, maybe next time. Thanks to all for the comments.

Very noisy or a lot of grain. Either way it does not work with this shot. IMO would of been better as a smooth black and white. Wish you well in the challenge.

I quite like the grainy effect here, but the bright spot (street light? sun?) is really jarring in comparison to the subtlety of the rest of the image.

This is pretty grainy, a run through NeatImage clears it up well. Ignoring that, though, this is a nice shot. Good amount of light and a decent composition.
