Greetings from the Critique Club :)

Hi Gerard...

This is a lovely composition... It's simplistic but still very appealing to my eye. Your choice of composition with the strong diagonals and by positioning your subjects low in the frame really creates a strong image in my opinion. The color contrast created between the blue and orange on the white background is also very strong, yet not overpowering.

One of my favorite aspects of this photo is the abstract element provided by the reflections on the top of the teapot. That little bit of added 'extra punch' really seems to give this photo much stronger appeal overall.

I can't really offer you any criticism on this shot... It's beautiful and I wouldn't change anything about it at all....

Keep up the great work :)

I really love the colours and arrangement here as well as the top-down viewpoint. I find the objects too close to the lower edge of the frame.
I'd either centre them in the space you've used now or, if you want to go for that off centre/ negative space look then I'd prefer the objects a little smaller within the frame, towards the lower left, but still with a wee bit more space below them.

Stunning and simple. Well composed and interesting. Colors are marvelous. I wish the oranges and whole teapot were as sharp as the teapot's lid. Well done.

The colours are nice. I like the positioning of the objects within the frame. The texture of the teapot is interesting, but I do find the reflection of the oranges in the teapot a little distracting.

like the confidence that allows you to leave the white space - definitely benefits the shot. And technically, keeping the camera so (nearly) invisible is an achievement. Something doesn't quite appeal about it though - at the moment not sure what - it may be the lack of depth to the shadows (deliberate I'm sure, but this is my personal prefernce, of course)

I quite like the colour contrast and reflection on the teapot. I do wish the oranges were a little sharper though.

Very nice colors. I don't think the empty space at the top helped any.
