I wanted to photograph how oil and water naturally seperate. Turned out pretty abstract. It'll compete with my Froggies shot for worst score of the year, but I still felt like submitting something. Close to 1:1 macro.

very crisp shot of the oil. I enjoy the hundreds of little bubbles. I must admit however that I can undestand the separation of oil and water but don't see it here. In order for oil to have this apearance it would need to be in water. Wowever you don't let us "see" the water that it is separated from. great shot just a little off 6

Awesome! I had a similar idea while I was cooking during the week but I didn´t try to execute the idea but I am sure it wouldn´t have looked half as good as this so I am glad I didn´t have the time to try this out. Anyway, I gave it a 9, hope you do well.

Spectacularly nice, but... The pure white foreground really bugs me, and the shadows along the 'ege are awkward too. That's all that's keeping it from a 10. Head and shoulders above most of the oil/water interpretations.
