 Stuck an egg with velcro on a dowel punched through background. Lit from the sides with work lights bounced off foamcore.

USM, cloned out some hot spots on the sides of the egg, crop, save for web.

Lens used: Canon 28-135 IS

neat. a floating egg leaking yoke through an unbroken shell. Not you standard egg shot. I like it. I see the separation and thing its obvious. I don't feel that this will be a strong contender for a ribbon. While it is interesting and creative. I think it will be quickly overlook. There is not much in the shot to grab the veiwers attention. Now six eggs.. that would have been somthing! great shot.. lacks appeal.

Technically fine, emotionally a void. It provokes no real reaction in me, except a mild sense of wondering how the egg is suspended. But i think I know...

I think its laying flat, but still wonder how you got the shape?

Too many egg shots, but yours is head and shoulders above the rest. Excellent color and light, and brown eggs are my fav
