Grinder and peppercorns on white posterboard, tripod, single overhead light, overexposed 1.7 stops to get the white to actually look "white". Taken with less than an hour to spare before the deadline - it's a re-shoot of a photo I took a long time ago. This one actually came out better. :)

Nicely done... it seems like the most simple shots in this challenge are among the best.

Interesting looking grinder. Your background may be just a bit too white. I know we all strive for that perfect white BG but this one seems almost blown out.

Cool shot with great lighting - it does feel a little "washed" - I think you should have taken advantage of some shadows instead of trying to wash them so much. This is still very clever, and I like your angle.

Nice composition, I like the way you have the lighting here, no sign of glares or shadows.

I like that pepper grinder. needs to be rotated to the left (the pic does). And you should have used more pepper corns in front of it. Nice lighting however.

Wow, lots of color on this peper grinder. How old is it? Would like to have seen some ground up pepper too.
Visual impact is quite good.
Focus is sharp,
I like that thin border, doesn't take anything away from your photography.

This would look great with a whole lot of peppercorns all around it. It needs a little more focus, but the lighting is great.

I think in a composition that look for purety and perfection vertical lines should be vertical , the grinder looks a little tilted to me and it distracted me right away. It was one of the first thing I saw in the picture. Otherwise I like the composition and the colors. Maybe a lttle too much reflection. 6
