Not the greatest shot I've seen, but a fascinating, seemingly universal concept. Often the though historical events can be memorable, often the personal events are what leave the biggest impact.

Nice idea and I like how you added the headlines. I wonder if some how you could have had the actual headlines and the picture on the scale with the picture out weighing them like your title suggest instead of just the scale in there. Good luck

wow my first comment, first i'd like to say that i was born in 77 so i wasn't around alot for the 70's....but i did enjoy being informed by this pic of some of the different events that occured :)

Why not put the frame on ths scale ?
Better exposure of the background might have rendered the seams of the snippets invisible ?

Nice representation on the theme and era. Unique concept. Titles may have appeared better if they were electronically printed on the paper rather than glued.

Very telling photograph - the weighing up the events of that decade. I might have turned the picture within toward the left and had it stand up straighter. It is, afterall, your treasure of the 70's - it needs more emphasis.
