 The background is white powder sand along the Gulf of Mexico. The subject is a very shy bird who would peek out from his hiding place only to quickly shun away my intruding lens. I hope this appeals to the viewer. Thanks

The sand in the background is completly washed out but I like the detail of the feathers on the birds chest
