This looks like a real billboard. The flowing water could be a little smoother, but this looks like a real billboard. Great job. Bumping to 10... my pick for the blue. |

Return for comment: Great water texture, beautiful color and light. I am not sure I like athe tilt in the water bottle, but overall, it's very effective. Bumping up. |

I think that the bottle shut have been straight or made bigger across the Billboard

My evaluation method of this challenge is as follows:
1. Did you catch my eye while I was driving by? Yes
2. If I didn't catch the text while I was driving, did you intrigue me enough to look for this billboard again? No words needed
3. Did you sell your stuff to me? Yes
4. Extra thoughts: As a billboard you serve the purpose very well. The message is very clear, easy to understand even if I only saw it for a very brief second.
The only suggestions for improvement that I have are about the photo.
IMO the bottle should have been streight and not tilted to the right.
A little bit of brightness would help, especially in getting the name of the product to stand out some more. You are selling a brand. Not just water. (7)

Not sure about the use of 'aching' but great advertising shot. Only criticism is that it could do with some extra spots of light : it looks a bit flat at the moment |

ok, i am voting this challenge in 2 passes. in this pass, you will get a partial comment and a score. then i will come back to comment again. if you have any problem whatsoever with this comment, pm me and let me know. otherwise, take it with a grain of salt...i'm not trying to be a know-it-all, i'm just explaining where i'm coming from in voting this challenge. and, if this comment is NOT helpful (of if you think i'm full of $#!+), don't mark it helpful.
billboards are a science unto themselves. a lot of research has gone into determining just how much information a person can digest and retain in specific time spans. they use this information to develop formulas for determining the number of words and letters to use on billboards, as well as their sizes. they also determine the size and number of visual elements to include.
the graphics/photograph on a billboard are designed to get the point across in a moment. on the road, a driver will have less time with a billboard than a voter will give your image. this is a key element in the challenge: composing a shot that will get its point across quickly and succintly. along those lines, a strong composition will probably have few details and make strong use of negative space.
-------------------
nice idea, but i'm not sure how effective it would be cropped to this size on an actual billboard. in reality, the thumbnail view is a pretty good idea of how much you would get whizzing by at 65 mph. as is, you get the idea of a bottle of water, but you lose the fine print. maybe trim off from the left. as an aside, not that it matters for the challenge, but another 'billboard rule' is to place the graphic on the left, text on the right. |

Lovely composition, a ribbon contender...Definite billboard advert, I want to buy a case of Iceland water, it should make my photo skills improve. Good luck... |

It would have been more effective if the bottle was standing straight. I get the feeling of carelesness this way. |

Yep. Works for me. This should do very well. Reminds me a lot of the whisky in the waterfall shot that was entered a month or so ago in 'advertising' |
