 White cotton living room curtain pulled up across a table. Table lamp to the left. Weak fluorescent light shining up behind curtain. Flash with yellow diffuser bounced off upper right wall and ceiling. Put a hand between diffuser and subject to keep direct flash from hitting it. Flashlight with tissue paper diffuser shining up at pot from right/front to take out some shadows. "Incandescent" white balance camera setting.

Cropped. Curves adjusted. Yellows and Reds desaturated -6. Contrast +4. USM. 30px border.

Very nice composition, but the exposure is off. The background isn't white, and the eggs aren't really white.

I enjoy the painterly feeling of this photo. I think a little more contrast would help to bring out more details, but I think you did a great job of composition and adding interest to what might have been a mundane subject.

If this were lighter it would fit the theme better... love the rustic look to it though.

Though you have a nice composition, i think your image is too dark. Maybe you sould have exposed it more or at leats edited it, in order to get the white background to actually seem white.

I love this little still life. It's captivating. I'm not one who feels the background has to be stark white to meet the challenge rules, but I personally would like to see it a bit brighter.

Has a real rustic feel to it which I find really appealing. Bit of a shame its a bit dark, but i hope you dont get marked down for that.

This is a nice photo but the lighting is too dull and I see more yellow than I do white.

I like the idea very much, but it is too dark for this challeng in my opinion. A little more light and this picture would be way up at the end.
