| I've thought about this shot for quite a while (since last night:). It is one of my absolute favorites on this entire site that I have seen since I've been here. I like everything about it and it is something I would definitely hang on my wall. But (and you know the but is not usually a good thing), in the context of THIS challenge, I personally do not think it does the best of job of fitting the challenge. The object is supposed to be light colored. I am assuming, maybe incorrectly, that the object is the flower arrangement and, if so, it definitely is not light colored with the exception of the larger flowers. But (and this is a good but) even though I do not feel it fits the challenge very well, I am still giving you a 10 because I feel the quality of the photo is something that I just cannot overlook. (hope all this makes sense...) |

| This is a great composition for a photo, on it's own I would give it an 8. Unfortunately the theme states "light colors," and the colors you used are vary vibrant and loud (which would be good in another challenge), I hate to do it, but it's a 4 because it doesn't follow the challenge. |

This is my choice for the blue, it's a beauty and definitely meet the challenge (IMO). I'm just affraid that many people will vote it down because it's different than most pic in the challenge. I really hope that I'm wrong on that and they that they give you high score.

| Flower arrangements are generally lost on me, but somehow the old wooden frame in the background transforms this arrangement from something that would look artificial and contrived into something that looks at least nominally natural. Nice color palette. |

| I like the window as a background, but the light on the plants seems too harsh to me. maybe smooth the picture a little. |

| WOW, I love the composition here. The back lighting has more interest than just a plain white. The dark rust color is a great look for this, but it is a little darker that I would expect as "light" on white. I am docking just a little for the dark colors. The white border is...... just ok, I think you could do without a border at all on this. It takes a little away from the window frame and it's a little uneven right/left sides. The over-all shot is really great and well thought out. 8 |
