 Shot in Bryn-mill park swansea - Sun was behind the swan so it blew out the background. Used curves to lighten it up further, but still maintain the texture of the features. I hope the background is white enough, thats my only worry.

Still my favourite of the challenge and glad to see that nobody picked up on the fact that this was more "white on light" than the reverse :)

I`m with you on the border...I think it works well.

WOW! I'm well happy with a top 10! Think i upset a few people with the border, but the more i look at it the more i like it! Ahh well...

For those that couldnt quite tell what it was (its a beak not a leaf!) hope this will help:

Sweet! I love the bright yellow. It make the rest of it seem ultra white. Excellent capture. You've also made good cropping choices.

the border is a bit heavy, a little more contrast would be an improvement in my eyes, but overall this is one of the better images in the challenge

The one problem I have with this photo is that it took awhile to figure out what I was seeing. Otherwise, good job on exposure, nothing is blown out.

This is my favourite so far..the only thing I see that may work against you is that your subject appears whiter than the background...hope that isn`t a problem as this is a great pic and deserves to be successful in my opinion.
