i'm all for odd combinations of food, but this doesn't look like an appetizing combination.
I do love the variety in textures. Mashed potatoes, or perhaps a bowl of ice cream would have set it off nicely. |

| Photographing food is tricky. A viewer's reaction to the presentation of the food will override everything else. In this image, the food comes off quite un-appealing. (I think it's the combination of foods) You did set yourself a difficult photographic challenge, and pulled it off well. Getting the highlights of the cauliflower in front of the shadow on the plate is a nice touch. |
