The background is really dark gray and IMO does not meet the challenge.

Pretty..the lighting makes it a bit hard to tell the background is white but I like it. A whacky flower and composition.

the more i look the more i like - the challenge did not say wash out your image and the darker tones here are refreshing after so much white. I cant decide if I mind the shadow, though.

The white background seems to gone missing in this photo...It is a good photo, but I fear you may be penalized for not adhering to the contest requirements.
