 Took this at the last minute. A snowstorm hit on Monday night here in NY. Got up early. Wanted to get pictures of the flakes falling against a white background of snow, but the flakes were too small by the time I got out of the house.

Instead, I ended up making a mini-snowman (about 10 inches high), with cloves for his face. Took some with the flash and some without. Ended up using one with the flash and cloudy day White Balance.

Did post processing in photoshop:
- Crop
- Sharpen
- Levels (to make things more white)
- Contrast (very little)
- Hue/Saturation - Removed all color.

This probably won't do that well, but I think it's pretty funny.

to me this is more of a black and white than a light color on white background as the challenge suggested.

Nice, simple composition. Like it. Needs a bit more light, though, to create better highlights and contrast.

Very nice exposure. Whimsical picture. Maybe could have made it a little more artistic by offsetting the subject and increasing the negative space.

I like these white on white shots not just because that is what I did gut I feel it has more impact by using shadow to off-set each object, and this one is well done.
