 I took this a couple days ago of a flower my son had picked. I am not sure what kind it is, My friend said it was a dahlia. I set this on a white board background, shot indoors with window light.

Great score (especially on a first time entry) way to go! BTW, you now have the highest scoring entry ever made with a Mavica CD350, congrats! I gave it an 8.

Returning for comment. I absolutely think this floral is the best in the challenge out of all the other florals. I just happened to think the background is light blue. So I had to deduct a point. Am I the only one who thinks your background isnt white? Very crisp and clear focus on the flower...I think you should of incuded the whole flower in the frame.

I do like this, nice simple composition, good lighting and exposure, good bloom to work with. Looks a bit noisy/grainy though, would have scored higher otherwise, so 7.
