 I actually took this picture for a card I am making for some friends who are dealing with the pressures of a mixed race relationship. And it happened to meet the challenge. Not a great photo perhaps, but hopefully some people will appreciate the deeper irony within it. While Love can be pure and decent, others may still see it at unnatural and impossible. The way we see it defines who we are!

I think it would work better if the figures were on the right side. As it is, I tend to follow the dog's gaze off the edge of the image. Nice job on the exposure.

Same thing, but with the puppy on the right, so that he is looking into the image, would be much better. Then the empty space would take on some meaning, as the "place" the puppy is looking, pure and bright.
