This is really great! I think it's a great use of B/W and I love how the ground is sloping down left and the trees are looming up right. Very good composition. |

I really like the composition, the way that the sapling is nestled between the old trees. The tree on the left does not look as sharply focussed as it could be. |

oh man ... I had this exact shot..didn't use it went with something else. This is well done.... hard to make a line of trees interesting... you have achieved it. |

I usually prefer seeing tall, strong trees in middle of an empty field, but this little one trying to grow surrounded by taller trees inspires a lot of courage and strength also. Good depth of field. I would have cropped a little more on the right and maybe show a bit more on top of the small tree. I am not very credible on judging and comparing to Ansel Adams work since I do not know him very well, but it sure is very contrasty, but lacking a bit of the "landscape" aspect. Good job. |
