At first glance the darkness seems too much and then... it begins to draw you in and you lean forward to see the detail. A marvellously composed scene.

First of all, that is one beautiful subject-wow!
i love the darkness..it forces my eyes up into the sky, and then i catch the mountain, and finally am drawn back to the darkness..makes me stay with it, leaning in to see more. |

This is beautiful. I think it might be worth trying to tweak a little more detail in the foreground, especially after all this reading and generalizing about Ansel Adams zone system--leave details in the dark areas too. |

A wee bit dark or muddy for me, but the view is so gorgeous it makes up for it!! :o) |
