One of the greatest surrealism artists in history drew a conceptual drawing of an eye with a faint skull in the pupil. M.C. Escher's drawing can be seen here:

I hope to achieve a fraction of his effect with his powerful and incredibly realistic yet dramatic sketch.
To do this, I simply reflected the image of an illuminated skull in the pupil of my eye into the lens of the camera.
Editing includes, greyscale, cropping, border, contrast and brightness levels, little bit of spot-editing to get rid of highlights, and a little skewing to make it less than 600 px.
