too dark...and not too surreal...it would be better if I could see the structure on the right |

I had to turn up the brightness on my monitor full scale to see the building as clearly as I wanted to. I would have cropped off at least the lowest boat, even the two lowest boats. They pull my eye away from the building and the sky. A 6. |

To me this just appears to be an underexposed shot. The rays of the sun aren't strong enough to convey what you were trying to capture. |

Pretty scene, but not a particularly surreal one. Probably won't do well in the challenge, but with some spot editing it should be on your wall. |

a bit dark to make out the subject, which I assume is the castle, and the presence of folks in the water is distracting. I'm sure a spot like that would be near impossible to shoot without having people in the fram though. 4 |
