 Tried the formula that was posted.
(I'll have to backtrack and let you know who posted it.)

Green: 140
Blue: -200
I also filtered it using Community version of Noiseware.
Feedback would be appreciated.

Nice job on the conversion. The sky really pops out with this technique. Perhaps the Noiseware filtering is a tad too smooth, and I'd try burning the foreground just a little for more impact.
