 I'm so happy to have gotten a shot into this challenge. I know there are alot of wonderful landscape photographers here, so I'm not expecting much. But I'm really happy with this photo no matter how it scores.

I used my circular polarizer when shooting. Today we had such beautiful blue skies and huge puffy clouds, I couldn't have asked for better conditions. Well, maybe if I was in Yosemite or Aspen or someplace like that... :-)

Post Porcessing consisted of converting to black and white using channel mixer, tweaked until I got something close to what I was looking for. Tweaked so much I don't remember the settings... :-), added a gradient filter layer (don't remember the settings) curves adjustment and some dodging and burning. I did have to use the healing brush on a few spots as when I opened the file I noticed some dark spots. I'm hoping it was just dust on my filter and not my sensor!! :-( Added border and resized. Anyways, that's about it. I'm may have missed a few minor steps but I played around with it so much it's hard to remember everything. :-)

The sky is excellent. I do feel, however, that the foreground could do with a bit more sharpening.

Excellent job with this scene. The sky is huge and the clouds are perfect. Your post-processing skills are to be commended. You brought out an extraordinary amount of contrast without overdoing it. Stunning.

This is a very nice image with a good range of tones. Would be even better without the blown highlights in the clouds, and a smaller (or no) border. Good work!
