You packed a lot of detail into this one Paul.
Hard to see why it didn`t score above mid fives.
Perhaps the foreground and the proportion it occupies might have been a problem for some, although I like the image as is.

The foreground seems a little soft for Ansel Adams. I dont know if this was NeatImage or an effect of dodging but it is evident to me. Otherwise, the tones are rich and full throughout with a good composition leading from the foregrounf sheep to the buildings along the road. Good job.

Your sheep have become lost in the grass. A coloured filter or a hue shift layer in post processing might have helped them stand out more.7
