| Nice tonal range, especially in the middle greys. Might be interesting to see a cropping of this with the horizon a bit higher. |

| I really like the tones in this shot, and the reflection is great. It's a good, clear shot, but something about the composition and subject is lacking for me. I'm not sure what it is. There's a lot going on in the photo, and the b/w probably makes it appear busier than it really is because of the similar tones throughout. In color, my eye would have some natural "sections" of the photo on which to focus. It looks like a pretty spot, but I'm not sure if I think it's the best location for b/w. I still scored this pretty high because I thought you did do a good job with the b/w tones, and for the clarity of the shot. Hope this is helpful. |
