 I decided last minute to atempt to enter the challenge. After reading the various posts about Ansel Adams, thank you Robert aka bear_music, for providing insides to Ansel Adams I learn alot about photography in one challenge. I managed to shoot this pic in raw but I managed to somehow get a b&w shot without even any photoshop. I then took it to photoshop and desat and did differect levels based on each level of color from the dark to the light tones. I unsharpened mask the image to give better contrast and I thought let her rip lets see how we do.

I like the view, but I feel that the sky should be darker, with those wisps of cloud really standing out against it.

you're lighting is a bit flat - more light would help focus the composition as well
