There were a group of Amish people playing in the ocean and tanning there amazingly white bodies (only bits at a time like this). Then there was this man who appeared to be the patriarch of the group just sitting back with his slick shades just enjoying the sunshine. I have never in all my time seen Amish people playing in the surf. The Amish are a small sect of people who shun technology, unpurity, public displays of emotion and allowing their pictures to be taken. I suppose I captured all four. Hope this resonates. Thanks.

I am not worthy enough to comment as I have not earned any ribbons.

I like this, too. The composition, expression, texture are all fine. If you could bring the pink back to his skin-tone you'd have a very fine photo. (Challenge aside, now.) So many 8-10's! Must have impressed at least 41 people....

Nice shot. However it doesn't seem surreal. At least to me.

The color is off... The man looks like his skin has a ton of the aqua.

i think this is a great capture, but what you did to the colors i think takes away from it. I would at least like the water to be a more accurate hue. That shift doesn't make this any more surreal to me. This isn't really a surreal shot in general.

The kind of washed colours are interesting in this shot. The composition however is not very interesting as it has many little problems (cut arm, little bit of chair on left...) which makes this pic less then super interesting. Frame is interesting. Doesnt really reflet Surrealim tho. 5

This appears to violate the Basic Editing rules. It appears that the image was selectively enhanced. I quote:

"Post-shot Adjustments may be made to your image in a photo editing program, so long as the modification is applied to the whole image. This includes levels, conversion to black and white, hue/saturation, sizing/rotating, curves and cropping (or their non-Photoshop equivalents). The use of certain editing and adjustment tools is restricted or prohibited as outlined below."
