This would have more emotional impact if it was in some other way askew. For example if the bike wasn't quite vertical, or if you change the composition to have the bike off center and less prominently framed.

not sure about the title. The shadows seem to be too much under the frame for me, maybe a different time of day ?

A very good idea. I think the light might be too bright on the subject... maybe a shot later in the day would've gotten you softer colors.

I looked at this one for a while, because at first glance I didn't quite like it, then the title and the state of that bike started making me nostalgic (sniff). Also, the composition of it made my eyes linger for a while, because it's really very effective. The shapes you captured out of a mundane object are lovely. It's a great approach to this challenge.
