I turned up the brightness for someone else's picture. Fortunately, for this picture as well or all I might have see was the sunlight on the tops of each stair. But with the brightness up, it is a nice foto with good compositon. The stairs themeselves are quite wide. While I do not see anything surreal about this photo, I like it and am giving it a 7 which is what I would have given it if I saw it as surreal.

This image is excellent! It puts me in mind of a really good science-fiction yarn and I can imagine it gracing the cover of such a book or being used in an advertising campaign for it. I love the simplicity of light, shadow and composition. 8

Beautiful. The idea of floating stairs is surreal, but the image is not. Still, I think it just clears the hurdle.
