CC for you psychephylax

I will make this short since I already did a mini CC in the forums yesterday.
Fits The Challenge-Yes.
Composition-Okay but the pole and trash distracted from the shot as a whole.
My Opinion- I guess that pole/trash are the main things. I would of liked more of the pond/lake in the photo. The man is good, I like the feel of the shot, alone, lost, sad.
:)

Nick, I have this a 7. I think shooting up the beach through the downed tree up to the standing one might have been effective (juxaposition type thing). While the basic technical issues of focus and color were fine, it's the "whoa" visual that just didn't quite jump out at me. I don't think I even noticed the tree standing until this viewing. A tighter crop of the "important" elements might have helped draw attention to those items. Rob the Swash

Nice image. I like how there is a person in the background and the ocena as well. This provides for a more meaningful reaction to the photo. Nice job.

Not sure about the guy in the frame

Nice shot. for future reference, remove the candy wrappers and cans and stuff from the line of sight before shooting. Those small things are really distracting. Also, whose that guy? Tell him to take a hike. Unless that's what he's doing already :-) I'll bet that tree in the background is the next one to go eh?
