the black part looks like an eye. Too bad he couldn't stand in the center. Everything here works. No emotional response, but the colors, focus, DOF, comp. are perfect. 7

It's a great photo. I think what would have been REALLY cool is if you had a close up of the face, with the same expression, covering the central open space of the stairs. This would certainly help bring out that expression more. I love it and would love to see different variations on the same composition. 8
