Maggie the beagle is my mothers dog. She is 1 year old and very photogenic. No edit except for resize. What could display best friends more than the relationship a dog has with a bone and her ball. All her favourite things right there.

Its funny how everyone commented on the grass at the front of the photo, I didn't actually use a flash, it was just sunny, and the camera was basically sitting on the ground. But not bad for a first attempt.

The bright, blurry stuff in the foreground seriously detracts from this shot. Next time try turning the flash off or shooting from another vantage point.

The over-exposed grass in the foreground is a bit distracting, otherwise nice idea.

Caputured a great moment. Flash in the foreground take a little away.

The glare of the grass is a little odd, and not a good touch to this picture. Everything else is very cute!

The bone and ball are hard to see with the blurry grass in the foreground. Without the title I may not have even noticed them. The dog is awesome and in great focus though.

The dog is beautiful, but the grass in the foreground is distracting and detracts a little from the overall image quality.

While the focus and light on the dog's face are nice, the grass steals focus. In the thumbnail I actually thought there were flames in this shot.

The overexposed foreground is basically killing this shot. Unless you wanted it to look like he was a hellhound surrounded by flames. The perspective is good and his expression is also good, it's just that icky golden blur in front.

The bright foreground is VERY distracting, but I love the clarity of the dog.
