From the Psychedelic Kitchen by e301 is one of my favourite photos. Here I have used the same lighting technique, using my laptop screen, to iluminate a slinky.

PS: levels, brightness/contrast, some slight changes in colour balance, spot edited some hot pixles and USM.

Nice lightning! I can think of a few things I'd do, like clone away minor parts that aren't really visible. Overall, a good capture and creative lightning.

I love all the secondary lines in this. The lit up inside, the rows of shadow lines on the rings, and the bright solic outside lines on each ring. Beautiful color too. One of my favorites!

excellent.. there are the lines of the slinky, and the lines of color that lead me from left to right - especially the arching green/purple in the lower right quadrant.
