Another acting shot of Tracy. I wanted a really contrasty grainy shot that really created a mood of desolation. I'm not sure if this crowd will like the shot. Also not sure if the blood will be liked as saturated when the rest of the shot is unsaturated. I'm sure I will get some, "this picture is underexposed, or overexposed, but I was honestly going for a.... picture like this. Anyways. Heres hoping for a 6

Bumbed up brightness and contrast
Selective desaturation
curves before desaturation
levels after
oh and hue and saturation of blood layer.

This would have been 10X better without the blood. So close...

Very very interesting. The shot itself conveys so much drama, I gotta give you lots of credit for this one. Only complaint is the blood just looks a little strange, can't quite put my finger on it. Good job, thanks!

This image tells a story, and has a punch to it. I like the selective desat too.

The first thought that hits me is using some more of the negative space you have, by putting the subject slightly more to the right.

powerful image, although i would prefer it all in b/w rather than the selective desat

I like the composition and idea behind the photo, but I think the added red detracts from it overall.

A rather nasty thought but this image drives it home powerfully.

Emotional photo. Whites seem blown out to me. A bit more light on the subject overall and a bit less brightness (I assume it was done in the post procesing ) would have helped. Possibly violates terms of use.

Interesting, but what did she die from? The coke is still layed out on the table.

Man are you ever going to get reamed by the soccer moms. It's gritty and I like the majority of it but honestly I think it would have been more dramatic if you hadn't made the blood red. Sometimes subtle is far more effective then in your face. Also the angle on her arm makes her hand fairly large. Overall good use of props, great lighting, love the fact you left grain.

Yep, those are lines. The red is a bit too harsh, making the shot seem too ridiculous for my taste. A bit more of a photojournalist approach actually would have been more effective, I think, maybe even with MORE grain. 6

Ouch. Disturbing and raw. The grain and desat are nice touches. Nice edgy entry.

Boy, for this I think I would have gone for the glam side of things. That poor girl needs to blow her nose :(

great idea and set up!!! i think the red distracts from the power of the photo though. 8

Nicely done, other than the blood looks a little too red/bright making it look false. Other than that I love it. Good luck with the DPC censors though, I can see some people objecting to this unfortunately.

I'm giving you a 10 for boldness. You're gonna need it when the soccer moms see this one.

My first reaction was that the background was a little too busy....but the brightness of the girl is enough to overcome it....my only problem with it is that the blood looks too painted on. Strong image though.
