All of the comments have been helpfull. The shot was taken in a hurry although thats no excuse. Everyone seems generally to be making the same point, cut out the ground. thanks |

A great effect. These things look alive. Bumping up. |

This would have looked better without being able to see the land, I would have cropped this 3/4 of the way down from the top as the greenery draws me down instead of looking at the intricacy of the overhead power cables. |

My previous vote had one path as a line unlike your explosion of wires. Very theme worthy. Little color and lower landscape a let down. Good luck. |

I think you could have caught these lines from a better angle, preferably (at least in my opinion) without the ground view. Its not so much distracting is it is uninteresting. Know what I mean? |

too many! I'd hate to live there. The focus is sharp but there is no focus for the viewer. I have no place to 'rest my eyes.' Its fits the challenge but doesn't really go much beyond that. I have no sense of the photographer or why he would take the picture. No emotional impact. No investment. |

I like your subject but would prefer not to have seen any ground and get in closer to the tangle of cables. |

I thought about doing power lines for this challenge but was unable to find/capture a compelling shot. (chopped off towers, crossing lines, line shake, good contrast, etc.) I̢۪m seeing some of these challenges in your shot too. |
