Just a tad softer lighting woulf have raised the edge on this image. However, I still like it enough to bumpi it. |

out of focus, colors off. Longfellow and Tennyson. Heavy reading! Not sure how to improve this otherwise. As is, not very interesting subject. Maybe a different POV? |

out of focus and a tad overexposed. lighting seems a bit yellow. great collection of books! |

I love the texture of the old book bindings. I like the fac that there is strong directional light. But the shiny plastic covers ruin the photo in at least two related ways. First, I want to see the texture of the covers, but I cannot, Second, I don't want to be looking at shiny reflections. It's not clear to me whether there is a way to light this without glare. If not, perhaps another subject would be better. |
