Just a tad softer lighting woulf have raised the edge on this image. However, I still like it enough to bumpi it.

out of focus, colors off. Longfellow and Tennyson. Heavy reading! Not sure how to improve this otherwise. As is, not very interesting subject. Maybe a different POV?

out of focus and a tad overexposed. lighting seems a bit yellow. great collection of books!

I love the texture of the old book bindings. I like the fac that there is strong directional light. But the shiny plastic covers ruin the photo in at least two related ways. First, I want to see the texture of the covers, but I cannot, Second, I don't want to be looking at shiny reflections. It's not clear to me whether there is a way to light this without glare. If not, perhaps another subject would be better.
