 A day at Warwick Races.

Shot in RAW, and saturation upped and w/b tweaked. Cropped quite a lot in photoshop, and greens, blues and yellows increased in saturation. Resized and saved.

This was my first time at the races, and it was quite a lot of waiting about for them to come around. Weather was very dull and overcast, and light was going so had to bump up to 800 ISO and hope it would still be sharp enough at 1/200.

Pretty pleased with the result, and some alternative viewpoints that I'd taken.

I miss a subject a bit closer to the foreground, but otherwise a good image that shows motion.

This almost looks like a painting, it's so soft. A great effect for this particular image I might add. It's a shame your sky doesn't have a bit more impact, as the brightness of the grass really makes this image bottom heavy and leads the eye away from the riders.
