Yeah, I know, people aren't going to like this much. In truth, I wasn't planning on entering this challenge at all, but I was going through some pictures I had taken outside and came across this. One of my kitties, Misty, was begging for attention, and the late afternoon glow cast some peculiar shadows on her and hit her straight in the face; I snapped a pic, and thought her eyes (this one especially) looked kind of cool. So here it is. This is following what will probably be my best score to date and could very well end up being my worst. Yay!
Editing: Cropped, resized, curves, some dodging and burning, adjustment layers to soften the image overall, sharpening, and colour warming. |

| This is a great pciture, I like the composition and colors. However, I am ambiguous about the connection to the challenge. It is not obvious to me, and seems to be supported mostly by the title. Still it is a good picture and I give it an 8. In a different challenge would probably give it a 10. |
