Maybe there's something I'm not seeing... WHAT is heroic about a child and a toddler? I don't see any clues here. snow? water? rocks? Afraid I don't see anything indicating these are heros. |

Would have used differnet cropping or positioning of the kids, since the kids are the freinds
but your eyes get drawn to the water. |

Crooked horizon draws me away from the subjects. It looks exceptionally cold there. |

First thing I noticed was the crooked horizon. It would have been better to crop out that completely. Additionally the girls' legs are cropped out, which seems odd considering there is a lot of negative space around them. Crouching down to that you were on their level and getting either a closer up view of the girls or else getting in their entire bodies would have helped. |

your horizon is tilted might want to correct that and maybe get all you subjects in frame for you have cut off their legs. good photograph. |
