Nice idea! i like the birds facing each other. If the backround was a little different, and lighter i may have voted a little higher, but nice idea.

live critters are tough, but maybe a little better exposure would bring the detail out on the blue feathered bird

The light seems a little harsh and possibly too much saturation combined with too much sharpness.

Too tight crop. Basckground is distracting... nice shot of the birds though. Blue on the feet doesn't look real.... did you tone the colors?
