I'd gone to Greenwich because it some senses it's the home of time - 0 degrees longitude, the naval chronamoeters, the time-signal etc. Wandered down to the river just as evening was happening on a hazy, cloudy day to se the red ball of the sun sinking beside this lamp-post. Perhaps a little tenuous as a 'time' shot, but had to submit it.

Technically, it's cropped, straightened, lightened and sharpened a little.

And incidentally, this is my first submission taken with the 602Z.

This does nothing here very static as far as composition and interest.

Like the composition and the colors. I see the time connection in the closing of another day.

To me, this is one of the simplest, yet most dramatic presentation of the "time" passing theme. I like the softness of the colors. Somewhat of a change from all the other entries. I just wish that wire (or whatever) wasn't in the way for you. It detracts from the lean lines. Nice shot. Good luck.

One of my favorites, perfect sun exposure. Shame about the bit of wire coming out the pole. Still a 10 from me..

Very eye catching image. Too bad that distracting cable or whatever it is hanging from the lamp post is there. You could see sunspots if there were any there right now.

My favorite shot of the challenge -- beautiful! It's unfortunate that the wire thing is hanging from the lamp, but it's not like you can just chop it off :) The exposure on this is dead on. Congrats!

Beautiful and simple. Great colors. One minor thing. Why didn't you secure that flapping wire?

Dang......very good shooting.....cool atmosphere, but I think the composition could of been better....skyline/bench/person/tree......something so the brain can tell where the horizon is. Not being picky, I like this very much.
