Two photos were taken under identical conditions; lid open, lid closed. They were printed at the same size. Lid closed photo was cut in half, placed on top. Then the composite was photographed.

Post processing included Cloning to get rid of artifacts & spots. Levels, Curves, HSL.

As a technologist, I am horrified at the prospect of this laptop's case being cut in half :) Never-the-less, a nice shot!

I'm not sure how you manage the cutaway view, it really is a unique view of the laptop.

Lighting and colors seem odd on left side of image. Not really sure what this image depicts. Half a laptop?

I like this shot. Im going to guess it was done using the barn door technique. If i am correct, I recommend that next time, have the top half of the keyboard the side folded becaus then you will not see the screen on the top left.

I don't like the yellow/orange tinted color to it, otherwise would be pretty decent.

the lighting casts a strange coloration across the keyboard. yellowish into white
