 A very sweet girl who was playing downstairs. She was extraordinarily camera shy, so this is actually a candid when she didn't know my long lens was tracking her :)
Converted to B/W, dodge/burn to bring out the eyes, a little curves.
The title is a little wimpy, but then it _is_ a stock challenge :)

I like this picture very much, Arpita. Must be the expression and the composition. If it were me, I would even crop it tighter at the top. You should try more portraits.

What a beautiful little girl. Her smile totally warmed my heart the minute I saw her. I may have liked it even a little better if her hair wasn't covering her eye, but it doesn't detract from my vote at all. I really love this picture. Good luck!
