| I like this good detail and composition but would have preferred the background to have filled the frame |

| Strong. The brighter background is a shame, as it pulls attention from the near-abstract qualities of the oiled/decayed metal, and what would otherwise have been a seriously powerful image. Strong sense of texture, tonality, light (other than that background, of course). |

| Great DOF, the yellow background really adds to the overall effect. As much as I try to leave constructive comments, i really can't think of what i would change about this. |

| Proving once again that dirt can be beautiful. The color, texture, and line in this photo are exquisite. (Apropos to nothing; when it's part of a machine it is known as a helical spring.) |
