 Raw. Kodak Photo Desk Hicolor hold. PS levels, crop, curves on water selection, clone out piece of garbage on ground, removed some dust spots from sky, new mask layer with channel mixer for desat, masked out child, burned snow, levels, and levels on snow,usm, border.

That looks like a really cool place to be. It just seems like it's lacking dynamic range -- some cool lighting (before sunset/at sunrise) or maybe a better angle could have done better. As far as a stock image, it could probably find its place out there somewhere, but the purchaser would be more inclined to buy a full color pic and then desaturate what they want themselves. It just doesn't leave a lot open. If it would appeal to a broader range of purchasers possibly you would have scored better.

You concentrated too much on the colors of the child's jacket...contrast is lacking in other parts.... nice angle though

Nice job of selective desaturation. Needs a little more contrast in the background. The tones are so close together, some of the details are lost.

I think you did a good job on this, but it doesn't hold a lot of interest for me. I might have like the shot more without seeing the back of the kid.

What's the stock message here....testing the waters? I am sorry but I just can't see an agency picking this up.
