 Photo'ed a newspaper and printed, etc. Mostly natural light. This will score badly, but I cannot resist trying to make the point that most TV and bulk print news is too vacuous, lopsided and boring even for a toy bear stuffed 'full of beans.' Note the article on Bush's Fake News.

stuffed animals....hmmm the paper adds a lot, looks a little soft/under exposed, or maybe the white balance is off, the paper is pretty soft on my monitor.....5

Teddy photos do not tend to do well in challenges, I have noticed! Really need a focal point anyway, however, such as eyes (cannot see thme here). There is quite a lot of noise in the background too (have you considered using a bit of neatimage to clean this up - a Google search away). And a tenuous link to the challenge.

No, I think the caption for this should read "Bear with me while I find out what I should be wearing beside this very chic purple ribbon." Yes, I know. Very corny. BUT, this doesn't make me think of BOREDOM!!! I am losing my mind trying to say it nicely!

Is it the bear that is bored? If I played photographic pictionary with this image, one of my first guesses would have been "engrossed"; guessing "bored" would have come much, much later. If the bear had (visible) eyes I'd have had more queues to go on. If the bear had been reading "Quantum Physics Quarterly" or "Government Accountant's Weekly Digest" I would have also been encouraged to see boredom.

Some subtle stuff here... thank you. Would the composition be better if you lost the headroom, and maybe turned the bear toward us? I'd like to see his eyes.
