Very sharp focus and the color makes my mouth water! Now, I've never won a ribbon -- and you probably have -- but there are 3 suggestions I would offer. 1. My eye keeps going to the shiny spot on the strawberry; diffused lighting may have softened that. 2. Diffused lighting would probably soften the harsh shadow behind the strawberry. 3. I know that the rule of thirds is just a guideline, but I think it would have helped here. The use of that nice white negative space with the strawberry on one of the crosshairs would have really drawn attention it. Hope this is helpful :) |

This straberry is so real it beckons a bite to feel its juice flow. Very realistic. |

Great colors and item for stock which would certainly sell. Only thing I dislike is the shadows from the flash but sometime that can't be helped. |

The simplicity of your subject choice is nice and the color of the strawberry makes it look very tasty. I think, though, that trying out different kinds of lighting might enhance the gorgeousness of the strawberry. The flash casts shadows that aren't particularly complimentary as well as a bit of a glare. |

Great idea and composition, baaaad lighting. To harsh and direct. Was it on-camera flash?? |

Nice focus and color... If we could just eliminate the shadows.... |

it would have been better if there wasnt a shadow and semi grey gradient on the white background. |

Needs a level adjust. You're shadows look a little blue. |

Oh its missing the lips from the previous "stock photography' challenge entry :D
the greenish background is distracting, it should be more uniform and not patches of green .. |
